Cecilia&#039;s mother was too ill to take care of her. Cecilia was cared for by her grandmother, who is very old and poor. One of the orphanage workers visited Cecilia&#039;s mother and promised to take good care of Cecilia during that conversation. The worker took Cecilia&#039;s mother to the hospital. On the way to pick up Cecilia from her grandmother, Cecilia&#039;s mother died.<br \/>\nUpdate September 2023: Cecilia is now 16 years old, and a beautiful, spontaneous girl. At school (grade 10) she has the best grades of everyone and she has also become more serious in her walk with God. A few months ago she was baptized for the second time, but now &quot;for real&quot; to use her own words, Cecilia lives with me in my house and she often helps me (also because my memory sometimes lets me down, must be the age, but Cecilia knows everything, and forgets nothing:) <\/p>\n<p>Thanks to sponsorship, Cecilia can go to school and build a hopeful future.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cecilia droomt van een goede toekomst met een goede baan.
