Elvis' parents come from a village close to Gjakova, but they lost everything due to the war. They have been living in containers ever since. Because both parents have no education, they cannot find work. The unemployment rate in Kosovo is very high, which makes finding a job difficult. As a result, Elvis cannot go to school and there is hardly enough food for the family. With your help, Elvis can go to school and later find it easier to find a job and provide for the family. Our contact person has informed us that Elvis no longer needs support. Thanks to your help, they have had the opportunity to go to school in recent years. Now that the children are getting older and the eldest of the family has gotten a part-time job, the family is able to take care of itself. It has been a wonderful opportunity that you have supported this family in the time needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now that they can provide for themselves again and make ends meet, it is also good to let them go so that they can take responsibility again. There are plenty of families in Kosovo who are now in the same situation as the Halilaj family and who now need help more.
