Paulo is happy that he now lives in a safe environment where he receives the care he needs. Paulo doesn't know yet what he wants to be when he grows up.<\/p>\n
Paulo has a twin sister Rosalina. Nothing is known about them, only that the mother was admitted to a psychiatric hospital and that the family was found on the street, under a tree. Their mother clearly had psychological problems, beat the children and gave them little or no food. Nothing is known about the father, perhaps he is in South Africa like other relatives. Paulo is starting to feel a bit at home in the children's center. Both children's hair, now shaved, was very blond, a sign of malnutrition. They are currently eating well and fortunately the AIDS test result was negative.
\nUpdate September 2023:
\nPaulo and his twin sister Rosalina are doing well. He is in the last year of kindergarten and will start primary school in February. Sometimes he takes me home with a group leader. That makes me very good.
\nUPDATE December 2023: Paulo is doing very well, he is more lively and active, life is no longer just about eating and watching movies \ud83d\ude0a . He has graduated from kindergarten, officially with mortarboard and all. After the holidays he will go to the first class of the Christian primary school \u201cLuz e Vida\u201d (Light and Life).<\/p>\n
