For Safina it is almost impossible to go to school because of the poverty within the family. Safina was recently diagnosed with a rare condition that prevents her first menstrual cycle, but causes a cyst in her lower abdomen. In the meantime she has had surgery for this but will have to take medication for the rest of her life and have regular check-ups.
