Salita is happy that he now lives in a safe environment where he gets the care he needs. He doesn't know yet what he wants to be later.<\/p>\n
Salito was initially supposed to stay in the orphanage temporarily, but that has been the case since 2012. There is confusion within the family about who should take care of Salito. Salito's mother is deceased and his father is unknown. Salito's grandfather works as a missionary in Kenya and therefore brought Salito to the orphanage. Salito is a beautiful boy to look at and very sweet. He captivates every visitor with his smile and affection.
\nUpdate September 2023:
\nSalito is now 13 years old and a giant, healthy and always cheerful. At school he is also doing well, he is in class 6 of primary school. In February he will go to secondary school. Salito sometimes indicates that he might want to live with his aunt, we try to find out if that is really good for him, we pray for it.
\nUPDATE December 2023:
\nSalito has moved on to class 7 of high school, a great achievement! We are going to talk to the family again this month, about next year, will he stay with us or will he go live with his aunt\u2026<\/p>\n
