Their father died and the mother abandoned them. That is why the children were taken care of by the great-grandmother&#039;s sister. They originally received food aid from the children&#039;s village, but that turned out not to be enough. Zefania has AIDS, Junior does not. He is given anti-AIDS drugs. He is very small for his age but otherwise quite healthy. The twins now go to school where they are doing well!<br \/>\nUpdate September 2023:<br \/>\nZefanias is doing well! He is growing up and has been attending a regular school for years now, where he has good grades. Next year he will go to high school. Zefanias is helpful and likes to visit his grandmother during the school holidays.<br \/>\nUPDATE December 2023:<br \/>\nZefanias is doing great, he has moved on to 7th grade! Against all expectations, he does very well at school. It is now the school holidays and he is learning something about the hairdressing trade. <\/p>\n<p>Thanks to sponsorship, Zefania can go to school and build a hopeful future.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Zefania droomt van een goede toekomst met een goede baan.
