2018 was a special year for Project Held. After we had a turbulent year in 2017 with trial and error, 2018 has turned out to be a year of promises. God has provided growth, prosperity in the projects and more vision and direction. Project Held is a sponsorship program where sponsors provide financial support on a monthly basis. In addition to this monthly support, we saw an increase in individual donations in 2018, which enabled us to support the projects extra. In addition to financial support, Project Held visited various projects in 2018. During these trips, we were able to invest with a team of travelers in the lives of the children and encourage the employees of the various projects. In addition, we were able to evangelize with the local population.

The loyalty of the sponsors has more than encouraged us and showed that God is faithful.

•  In 2018, Project Held adjusted and changed the corporate identity. This was due for renewal, all the more because it had hardly been adjusted from the start of Project Held. The result is a great, fresh and catchy style. In addition, the Project Held logo has also been given a rejuvenating look.
•  Project Held has entered into a partnership with two new special projects, we will support these children with Project Held. The projects are Thsega in South Africa and hope4hope in Kenya. Extensive discussions were held with both projects and it was decided to enter into a partnership. At the moment several children are already being supported in these projects.
•  In addition to child sponsorship, Project Held sees an increase in individual donations for project support and project-based donations. In 2018 this was aid regulations in India and personal help to widows in Kosovo and financial support to a church in Kosovo. The donations received for individual projects that could not be spent in 2018 have been reserved for 2019.
•  Project Held sees a change and “new” field in which not only sponsors, but also various stakeholders would like to do more for the children's homes themselves. This is mainly due to the travel, which creates more involvement. Travelers give

education, physical help and attention to the children, so that the demand from our projects to come and visit them is increasing. The remaining funds from the trips in 2018 are reserved for 2019.
